Meet Dr. Valerie Imperial of Partners in Women’s Health as she shares her medical journey, what inspired her to pursue obstetrics and gynecology, and the experiences that have shaped her approach to patient care since joining the practice in 1997. Originally born in Montreal and raised in Texas, Dr. Imperial earned her medical degree from Baylor College of Medicine. In this introduction video, she reflects on the mentorship and guidance she received from previous partners within the practice and her passion for supporting women through every stage of life. Dr. Imperial especially enjoys contraception counseling and helping patients navigate menopausal challenges. While she previously practiced both obstetrics and gynecology, her practice is now focused exclusively on gynecology and long-term women’s wellness care.
