Menopause & perimenopause care
SUPPORT THROUGH A NATURAL LIFE TRANSITION
Menopause and perimenopause are natural stages of life marked by hormonal changes and the end of menstrual cycles. While this is a shared experience, no two people move through this transition in the same way. Symptoms can range from mild to disruptive, and they often evolve over time.

Our Philosophy of Care
At Partners in Women’s Health, we believe perimenopause and menopause care should be collaborative, informed, and grounded in trust. We recognize this stage of life as a meaningful transition and take time to understand how hormonal changes, symptoms, and health concerns may be affecting your daily life.
Our providers focus on education, symptom relief, preventive health, and long-term well-being. Care may include conversations about menstrual changes, hot flashes, night sweats, sleep, mood, sexual health, vaginal dryness, bone health, and treatment options, including hormone therapy when appropriate.
Treatment decisions are guided by medical evidence, your health history, and your personal priorities. Our goal is to create space for thoughtful conversation, answer your questions clearly, and develop a care plan that feels right for you.
What is MENOPAUSE AND PERIMENOPAUSE
Perimenopause is the transitional phase leading up to menopause. During this time, hormone levels fluctuate and menstrual cycles may become irregular. Symptoms can begin several years before periods stop completely.
Menopause is defined as having gone twelve consecutive months without a menstrual period. After this point, hormonal changes continue to influence overall health, including bone density, heart health, metabolism, and cognitive wellbeing.
Understanding where you are in this transition helps guide treatment decisions, symptom management, and preventive care in a way that supports your long-term health and quality of life.
Treatment options are individualized and may include:
Lifestyle modifications such as nutrition support, exercise, sleep strategies, and stress reduction
Non-hormonal medications to help manage hot flashes, mood symptoms, or sleep concerns
Contraception pills when pregnancy prevention and cycle regulation are still needed
Menopause hormone therapy (MHT) to address moderate to severe symptoms and support quality of life
Together, we review benefits, risks, and alternatives so you can make informed decisions with confidence.
